This post has 5 paragraphs. It's hard to imagine how much easier it can possibly be. Honestly, what are you waiting for? 3D Rendering is a specialized field of computer graphics that lets users create audio-visual images on the computer which seem real or physical. These images are created by simulating the optical phenomena of light reflecting off surfaces in our environment and allows the user to interact with these virtual objects as they would with physical ones. With this post, I am aiming to provide readers some general understanding about 3ds max model shader network along with some useful tricks & tips on how to overcome this issue if they are facing any problem at all during their work hours. Hence, in this post I am going to keep it short & focused on the topic I want to talk about. There are many times when you will realize that the material shader network in 3ds max falls out of sync. This is quite common when objects are modified at different times or you are working with multiple objects. But anyway if you are having any problem regarding this issue, then don't worry simply follow the below steps & you will be amazed 😛 1st Step: Go to Rendering>Materilas> Create New Material . Now name this material something that you can easily recognize later. Now, for example let's call it Golden Tutorial. Now, in the Material Editor, click on the small folder icon next to the Material Name input box. Now open up the shader library. navigate through it till you find a material called Blinn. Drag & drop Blinn material on to Golden Tutorial material now by right clicking on Golden Tutorial material name or icons after that select finish! Now if you see your Golden Tutorial material now contains default values for this default material. Now it's time to set your material properties. After selecting each property to alter it's value go back to the Rendering>Materlias>Golden Tutorial. Now go to Shading Model drop down menu & select bryce. Now Hit apply! 2nd Step : After setting the proper material properties all you need to do is simply set the default values for them in that default material. If you are working with multiple models then you can also use this technique on them too. This will ensure that all related objects are affected by this change at once without affecting any other objects in your scene or other materials in your scene which are not related at all . Now it's time to set the the material properties of the default object. Simply double click on its material name & go to Shading Model drop down menu & select blinn. After that hit apply . That's it! you are all done now just save your file in a safe place in your computer. These were the few easy steps that you can follow if you want to modify a default object or a model that is already imported in your scene All you need to do at that time is simply modify the default values for them in that default material then render your scene .
